AVP - Business Strategy / Organizational Development Business Partner (ODBP)
Responsibilities
· Deliver business & go to market strategy working closely with the Business Head/VP – Professional Services.
· Create methodologies that define details of market approach and industry specific solutions to the marketplace.
· Engagements will involve business strategy & road map, value enhancement, portfolio management, sourcing, architecture, org. structure and program management.
· Assist in Strategy Formulation
· Help in information management
· Client Management
· Coordination - on data requirements, any other issue
· Strategy and Roadmap development: A detailed plan that translates business strategy into the service requirements. The plan enumerates the business architecture, application portfolio along with implementation roadmap.
· ROI analysis
· Cost allocation model: Costing framework for budgeting and cost optimization purposes.
· The model includes breakup of cost to smallest level of apportioning (as required) and implementation of the model.
· Operations efficiency management: Efficiency enhancement through IT, Process, Governance and People to achieve efficiency in application portfolio, processes, infrastructure, and governance.
Candidate profile
- 7+ year’s experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform in relatively un-structured large firm environment
- Demonstrated thought leadership in the form of whitepapers, frameworks, study reports etc.
- Candidates should have experience in Business Planning with a strategic bent of mind.
- Demonstrated experience consulting with senior leaders and teams including contracting, discovery (needs assessment, data collection and research), diagnosis, providing feedback, developing action plans & deliverables, presenting results/recommendations, and support execution of action plans
- Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead projects from inception through completion while bringing stakeholders along
- Deep listening skills with ability to effectively coach and mentor others; Must be able to lead by influence
- High emotional intelligence (EQ), including self-awareness, adaptability and organizational awareness
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Organization Development/Effectiveness, Organizational Behavior, I/O Psychology.
• Master's degree, MBA from a premier institute is a must.
• Preferred certifications in Change Management, Hogan and/or other Personality & leader assessments.
