Role Overview
We are looking for a Chief Business Officer (CBO) to drive strategic growth initiatives, new market expansion, and long-term business
development across domestic and international markets. This role will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, building
strategic partnerships, entering new markets, and expanding the company’s presence across industries and geographies.
The CBO will report to & work closely with the Founder/CEO to shape long-term growth strategy and unlock new revenue opportunities
beyond existing business models. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify growth levers, build partnerships and translate long- term business opportunities into scalable revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Growth
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across markets and industries.
• Define long-term business growth strategies aligned to company objectives.
• Evaluate emerging market opportunities and expansion pathways.
• Develop scalable business models for new revenue streams.
Market Expansion
• Lead expansion into new geographic markets.
• Identify and prioritize high-growth industry segments.
• Build market entry strategies across domestic and international markets.
• Drive early-stage growth in newly entered markets.
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
• Build long-term strategic partnerships across ecosystem players.
• Develop alliances with distributors, technology partners and enterprise networks.
• Identify joint go-to-market opportunities with partners.
• Strengthen ecosystem positioning and market visibility.
New Revenue Streams
• Identify opportunities to create new product-led or service-led revenue streams.
• Explore monetization opportunities across existing and emerging markets.
• Evaluate acquisitions, joint ventures or partnership-led growth initiatives.
• Develop business cases for new investments and market opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with CRO, Product and Marketing teams to align growth initiatives.
• Provide market insights to shape product innovation and roadmap priorities.
• Align new business initiatives with operational readiness and delivery capacity.
Leadership & Organizational Development
• Build scalable business development teams across markets.
• Develop leadership capabilities across new business functions.
• Establish structured frameworks for tracking new market performance.
• Foster a growth-oriented and opportunity-driven culture.
We are looking for a leader who has:
• 15–22 years of experience across business development, strategy or growth leadership roles.
• Proven experience entering new markets and building new business lines.
• Strong track record of building strategic partnerships and alliances.
• Experience working across domestic and international markets.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and scale new revenue opportunities.
• Experience working in growth-stage or scaling technology companies.
• Ability to operate effectively in founder-led environments.
Preferred Experience
Strong preference for candidates who have:
• Experience building business models across distributed ecosystems.
• Exposure to FMCG, Retail, Distribution or Supply Chain technology ecosystems.
• Experience launching new products, markets or verticals.
• Built large partner ecosystems or alliance networks.
• Worked in companies scaling from regional to global operations.
