Site Leader – Offshore Center of Excellence

Title: Site Leader – India

 Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (U.S.-based)
 Team Size: Immediately 15+ across Engineering, Support, G&A, and Revenue Operations
 Structure: Matrix reporting into functional U.S. department leads

Our client is setting up a GCC centre in Bangalore, India. The company is in the Ad Tech space.

Role Overview

As our Site Leader, you will build and lead our offshore Center of Excellence, initially focused on software development, but quickly expanding to include accounting, sales operations, implementation services, support, and other non-strategic functions. 

 Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

●      Build, retain, and lead a high-caliber team across functions (Engineering, Support, G&A, RevOps, Post Sales).

Operational Oversight

●      Drive operational excellence across the CoE, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

●      Operate within a matrixed organization, managing relationships with U.S.-based department heads.

Growth & Strategy

●      Identify and unlock opportunities to expand the scope of the CoE beyond engineering.

Ideal Candidate Profile

●      15+ years of experience in scaling global operations or shared services in a SaaS or tech-enabled business

●      Background in software engineering or technical delivery, but evolved into broader operational leadership

●      Exceptional English communication skills and executive presence
