Job Description

Position - UI/UX Designer
Location - Bangalore / Ahmedabad

About the role:

UI/UX Designer will be responsible for gathering company’s platform design requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components which help the company build a hands on user experience for its readers/users.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in coordination with the marketing and editorial team

  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

  • Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how websites and mobile

    app function and look like

  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables) and supply to the

    developers in the required formats

  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) and work closely with

    the brand manager to ensure the design is in line for a smooth user experience

  • Design various engagement campaigns for companies email marketing (design and

    html)

  • Adhere to company’s style standards on fonts, colors and images.

Skill Required

Should have a good grip of and be comfortable with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign. Experience in Animation software - premiere pro / After Effects is preferred

§ Sharp picture editing skills

§ Be thoroughly professional and have clear attention to detail.

§ A creative bent of mind.

§ Strong grasp of written business English

§ Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas.

§ Understand the purpose of design based on the brief sent and do appropriate R&D to work as per industry standards.

§ Basic knowledge of html

5 - 7 years experience
