Our client is a software development company that has built web, mobile and social experiences for global clients. Our client’s team of agile developers has experience building scalable web apps, innovative social and mobile apps, high-performing media and e-commerce sites and smart big data apps.
Responsibilities:Up to 2 years or more of professional experience in client-facing projects designing for mobile and/or web. Work must be showcased in a portfolio
• Experience of designing a product end-to-end, from client requirements to wireframes and visual designs
• Craft stellar user experiences that elegantly balance user and business need, and technological limitations
• Apply UCD processes to design personas, user flows, wireframes, mockups and detailed interaction designs
• Create rapid prototypes (mockups, screen flows, interactive models, etc.) to test with consumers and integrate feedback through an iterative process
• Strong understanding of basic UCD methodology.
• Experience creating detailed sitemaps, workflows, wireframes, and interaction design specifications
• Proficient with design tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, MS Suite
• A undergraduate degree in HCI / graphic / UI / interaction / product / communication design or relevant certification
• Must have worked on mobile, tablet and desktop apps
• An understanding of HTML, CSS and relevant software technology
• A strong understanding of design principles and its applications across web and mobile
• Should be able to demonstrate a design thought process in any project undertaken
• Possesses excellent oral communication, organizational and analytical skills
• Is a good team player, is open to criticism and can handle it well
• Possess strong research skills
• Is self-motivated to take up responsibilities and execute them to perfection
• Wants to experience working in a dynamic startup environment
• Should be versed with the latest design trends
• Work closely with the senior design team to understand different projects
• Learning industry standard design processes and applying to live projects
• Conceptualizing and executing the graphics and visual designs required for projects across the company
• Involved in internal and client facing projects

We like people who can think design but love to get their hands dirty too. People who can write scenarios, sketch storyboards, create wireframes, and build UI prototypes. People who are not only skilled practitioners but opinionated and aspire to be thought leaders. Candidates should have a broad portfolio that particularly includes mobile and web apps. They should be skilled in creating scenarios, story-boarding, wire-framing, and visual design. Good communication skills are key in our highly collaborative environment. We collaborate not only with each other but with clients also. You must also appreciate ambiguity and value creative conflict in support of strong design
